Healing is one of the most humbling and incredible gifts that God provides for us! God can and will heal us, if we go to Him in complete faith and trust in His promise. In James 5, we are given the instructions we are to follow, to obtain healing from our Father.

James 5:14-15

14 Is anyone amoug you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointng him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

A roman centurion came to Christ and asked if He would heal one of his servants. Jesus offered to go to the centurion’s home and heal the servant there, but the man told Christ that he was not worthy to receive Him at his home. Even so, he had faith that Christ could heal his servant if he wanted too.

Matthew 8:8

8 The centurion answered and said, “Lord, I am not worhy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed. 9 For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, ‘Go’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.

Notice what the centurion says here, he knows that Christ has authority! He has faith and believes! Jesus was amazed at the faith that the man had and said that He had not found such great a faith in all of Israel. Because of the centurion’s faith, Christ healed his servant, even without being at the man’s house physically!

Matthew 8:13

13 Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you.” And his servant was healed that same hour.

That is the faith that we must have when we go to God for healing. Absolute faith and confidence in God’s promise. In situations where there is no church elder available locally, it has been the practice of the ministry of God’s church, to provide anointed cloths to those who request them for healing. As a service to all of you who have no one to call on, or to provide for you locally, we are able to make available, anointed cloths to those who request them. To request an anointed cloth, use the form on the Anointing page, or contact us via U.S. Mail using the address provided on the Contact Us page. Thank you for your faithfulness in looking to God for healing.
